Michael J. Vastano 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 5, 2015.Born in Santa Maria Capua Vetere Caserta, Italy on December 8, 1943. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Ann of 52 years, children; Carmela (Brian), Joseph (Katrina), Michael (Norma) and Anthony (Nikki); 11 grandchildren; Brian, Nicole, Monica, Michael, Carmela, Michael, Matthew, Michael, Joseph, Collin and Elizabeth, great-granddaughter; Madelyn, brother; Pasquale (Ann) and Carmine (Renata) and many more loving family and friends. The wake will be Saturday, March 7th, from 5-8 pm and Sunday, March 8th, 2-5 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA. The funeral mass will be Monday, March 9th, at 1 PM at Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
