Nancy Lea Atkins

Mrs. Atkins was preceded in death by her parents Paul Jackson and Nancy McGinnis and her husband Wayne Leonard Atkins. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Shannon Evelyn Atkins.

Mrs. Atkins retired as a school bus driver for the Virginia Beach Public School System for many years. She was a member of Church of The Holy Family.

Survivors include two sons, Anthony Jackson Atkins and Marcus Vincent Atkins; two grandchildren Anthony “AJ” Atkins, Jr., and Shalynn Christine Atkins and a sister Suzanne Garrison.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by Father Rene L. Castillo. A reception will immediately follow the service at the Woodlawn Funeral Home.
