Nancy Charlotte Lankford Bloise, 66, of Virginia Beach, VA passed away peacefully at home on April 28, 2021. She was surrounded by the love of her family.
Nancy is rejoicing in heaven with her parents, Morgan and Lois (Boyce) Lankford; daughter, Lois M. Schmidt and her grandson, Jonathon Ventrana. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 47 years, Joseph “Joe” Bloise; son, Morgan Bloise; four grandchildren, Joseph, Mason, Katlyn and Samantha and brother, Robert Lankford and his wife, Kathleen.
Nancy was born in Norfolk, VA on June 4, 1954 to the Morgan and Lois Lankford. Shortly after graduating from Norfolk Christian High School in 1972, Nancy met the love of her life, Joe. They married in 1974 at Spungeon Memorial Baptist Church in Norfolk, VA. During her working career, Nancy was a medical secretary and enjoyed her life to the fullest and made many life-long friends through her too-short time on this earth.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 4-8pm and graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 2pm. All services will be at Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens at 6309 E. VA Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23502. Please visit www.WoodlawnNorfolk.com to leave a message of condolence for the family.
