Nathan J. Gray, 89 passed away 4/1/13 with his loving family by his side. He was born to the late Johnnie and Dallie Gray in Warren County, North Carolina 12/12/1923. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 45+ years Marjorie L. Gray and his four siblings.
Nathan enjoyed fishing and hunting as his favorite pastime. He served in the NAVY for 32 years and retired as a Senior Chief.
He leaves to cherish his memory his 3 children Nathan Wayne (Ruth), Nathan J. II (Dona) and Belinda (Clifford); 3 grandchildren Alexis, Michael, and Christopher; and 2 great-grandchildren Justin and Zander.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 6-8pm with funeral services Friday, April 5, 2013 at 1:30 pm with burial to immediately follow. All services will be handled by Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please donate all funds to Sentara Hospice. Condolences may be left at www.woodlawngroup.com.
