Paul David Cannon

Paul David Cannon, 69, passed away on April 20, 2015. Paul was the son of the late William and Pearl Cannon of Norfolk. He was predeceased in death by his son Allen Brandt Mansfield of Chesapeake and his brother Ira Taylor of Charlotte, NC. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Betty Mansfield Cannon; daughter Paula Joelle Barwick of Richmond, VA; brother William Cannon, Jr. of Tampa, FL; son Trey Mansfield (Stacey Hugo); grandchildren Tyler, Logan, Drew Mansfield, and Alex Mendez of Chesapeake, VA; sisters-in-law Sheila Sands (Sandy), Carla Kidd (Miles), Robbin Rosser and her son, Ian Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews of Charlotte, NC. Paul attended River Oak Church in Chesapeake. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army. Paul was a Vietnam Veteran. Paul worked for decades in the auto sales business and most recently was employed by Perry Buick. Paul was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and proud to have served his country. His laughter will be missed by many. Visitation will be held from 6 -8 PM on Friday at Woodlawn Funeral Home at 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk, VA. Funeral services will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday April, 25 at 2 PM followed by interment with military honors.
