Mr. Ambrose was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence Hansford Ambrose and Christine Ambrose, his wife Helen Ambrose and a brother and three sisters.
A Norfolk native, Reggie was an automotive mechanic with Cavalier Ford and Green Gifford for more than 45 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and took pride in his family and home.
Survivors include a son Denny Ambrose and wife Cindy; a daughter Regina Ambrose; 3 grandchildren Daniel Zeno and wife Alyssa, Lauren Lally and Christi Kopsidas; 6 great grandchildren Maddy, Brooke, Madison, Zoe, Cooper and Grady; and a sister Brenda Rea.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 15, 3:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
