Ronald Dennis Palmer

Mr. Palmer was born July 10, 1942 in Romney, WV and graduated from Keyser High School, class of 1960, in Keyser, WV. He was the son of the late Mary Dove Palmer and Eldridge F. Palmer and was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Pelfrey Tomblin Palmer, and two brothers, Roddy Palmer and Edwin Russell. He retired from the U.S. Navy after twenty-seven years and from Dollar Tree after twenty-one years of service.

Survivors include a brother, Edward Russell & wife, Shelby, two sisters, Ann Slaughter and Jean DeBarr, a sister-in-law, Alice Faye Russell, six children, Diana Riner, Wanda Denovchik, Charles Tomblin and Robert Tomblin, Susan Wonchoba and Jennifer Bak, nine grandchildren, Michelle Bolton, Sean Riner, Kimberly Speaks, Michael Tomblin, Justin Tomblin and Trista Tomblin, Elizabeth Salyers, Sydney and Andrea Bak and six great grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Community Memorial Gardens by Brother Jerry Casteel.
