Rudolph U. Williams

He joined New Rising Sun Baptist Church of Norfolk, VA later in his adult life, where he served as a Deacon, Chairman of the Deacons, and Minister under the leadership of the late Dr. Zack Pippins Jr.

In 1983, Rudolph was joined in holy matrimony to Barbara E. Williams for 30 years. To this union they have 6 children.

Rudolph leaves to cherish his memory his wife Barbara; sons Terry (Michelle) Williams of Charlotte, NC Rudolph (Tonya) Williams of Chesapeake VA, Eric (Nicole) Williams of Douglas, GA, Alton Williams of Richmond VA; daughters Tiwanda Williams of Chesapeake, VA Tia Williams of Norfolk VA.; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. His siblings Jerome Williams (Debbie), Shirley Mabine (Thomas), Daniel Williams (Michelle); and a host of nieces, nephew’s relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, March 29, 2013 at 11:00am with funeral services to follow at 12:00 pm. at Woodlawn Funeral Home and Crematory located at 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk VA 23502. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family wishes to invite all who attend a repast immediately following the burial at Clarence Cuffee Rec Center located at 2019 Windy Rd. Chesapeake VA23324 from 1-3 pm.
