Sarah Jane Byrum, 90, passed away in Chesapeake on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. Sarah was born in NC to the late Glenwood and Mary Boyce. She is also predeceased by her husband, William Byrum, Jr. and two children, Gayle and Matt Byrum. Sarah was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She made her family her priority in life. Sarah enjoyed attending church and she loved singing. She is cherished in memory by her children, Gary Byrum (Terri) and Brad Byrum (Denise); eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a host of other family members.
There will be a graveside service set for 2pm, Monday, February 8, 2021 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Officiating the service will be Reverend Mike Lucas from Bayside Church of Christ. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.woodlawnnorfolk.com.
