I am so saddened to learn that our "Dear Brother in Blue" has left us so soon.  I remember so many things from over the many years that Scott worked with me or with my husband, Jessee in the NPD.  We shared so many laughs, deep discussions of our perspectives, backed each other up, watched each other's backs, and became good friends.  Even after he retired and went to work with Gary Brothers, we'd talk with him from time to time, and the experience was always good and brought back warm memories.  We were so blessed to have had the privelege of walking through this life journey and sharing the road with Scott for that time.    
I pray that you will find comfort and rest in this hard season, and that the blessings of your life with Scott will come to outweigh the pain of his leaving.  Please know that you are in our prayers.

I was saddened to hear of Scott's illness and un-timely passing.  Some of my earliest and fondest memories on the police department involved Scott.  Our family ties went beyond the department, my wife and Scott graduated from the same High School where he was the senior Class President.  My sincere condolences to Scott's family and friends, he will surely be missed.
