A consummate mother, wife, and homemaker, Sow was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family. She enjoyed playing Mahjong with her friends, going on vacations with her children, and attending to her vegetable garden in her median years.
Sow had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of the Chinese American Family Bible Church in Virginia Beach, Va. She enjoyed attending the services every Sunday and immersing herself in the church community.
Sow is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Shi Pei Kuo. She is also survived by six children and their spouses, Ching Yuen Kwok, Janet and Martin O’Mara Vivian and Douglas Chiu, Holly Chui, Pan and Sidney Chow and Jarvis Kuo. She had seven grandchildren, Amanda O’Mara, Aaron O’Mara, Jasmine Chiu, Alex Chiu, Christina Chow, Samantha Chow, and Victoria Chow.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home. 6329 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502.
