Susan Louise Ludwick Garrett, 67, passed away April 12, 2015 in her home after a long battle with breast cancer. Susan was born in Norfolk, VA to Blanche Rose Ludwick and the late Ned F. Ludwick Sr. She was the widow of John A. Garrett, her beloved husband of 38 years. She is pre-deceased by her one and only baby brother, Ned F. Ludwick Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Blanche Rose and her three daughters, Robin G. Brown and son-in-law, James, Cindy G Bateman, and Dorothy B. Garrett. Susan was also a beloved grandmother to Amanda, Christopher, Hannah and Austin and great grandmother to Micha. She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, and retired School Crossing Guard for the Norfolk Police Department. She loved life, the Lord, and her family. She had a beautiful smile and those who were blessed to know her loved her immensely; she will be loved and deeply missed forever. The family will be receiving family and friends between 6 and 8 pm.
