Tina was the kind of person who always put others before herself. She lived for the people she loved and would do anything for them, never expecting anything in return. She was giving, thoughtful, compassionate, funny, honest, hardworking, and deeply empathetic. Above all, Tina dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. Even in difficult times, her first priority was always making sure they had what they needed. She was truly selfless, a fighter, and that is what defined her.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching crime and drama shows, MMA fights, and comedy specials. She loved her cats, cherished her yearly trips to Franklin to see her friends, and always sought to bring joy and laughter wherever she went.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Sheila and Dennis Brown; her children, Christopher Pennington, Cody Pennington, and Brandon Pennington; and her grandchildren, Bonita Pennington, Xavier Smith, Kairi Smith, Axel Smith, Griffin Pennington, and Byron Duffney. Tina is reunited in heaven with her siblings who preceded her in death: Bonita Smith, Ronald Wells Jr., and James Wells.
At this time, services are pending. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society at http://www.cancer.org/donate. To share memories and leave condolences for her family, please visit http://www.woodlawnnorfolk.com.
