Born March 24, 1945, in San Jacinto, Pangasinan, Philippines, Virgie lived a life marked by steadfast faith, quiet strength, and a generous spirit that made others feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. Her presence was gentle yet full of life—thoughtful in word and deed, patient in hardship, and wise in the way she offered comfort and encouragement to those around her. Even in ordinary moments, her humor and warmth could lift a room, leaving behind the kind of memory that lingers with gratitude.
In 1967, Virgie married Antonio Cabrera Satsatin of Cavite City, Philippines. Together they built a devoted family life and raised three children: Romeo, Edgardo, and Josephine (“Jo”). Her love for family was constant and selfless, expressed not only in what she provided, but in how faithfully she showed up—loyal, compassionate, and deeply kind-hearted.
She treasured time spent with family and friends, especially during gatherings and celebrations, and she found joy in sewing, gardening, raising chickens on the farm, fishing, cooking Filipino food, and playing her favorite game of Bingo.
Virgie dedicated many years of faithful service as a Quality Control Inspector with Cooper Companies, working diligently until retirement. She was respected for her strong work ethic and for the care she extended to coworkers—an unassuming generosity that reflected the best of who she was. Resilient through life’s changes, she remained an inspiration to those who learned from her example: to be steady, to be gentle, and to love without keeping score.
Virgie is survived by siblings Rosalinda Indong Magat and Efren Indong of the Philippines; son Romeo I. Satsatin (Deanna) of Grovetown, GA and grandchildren Reshad (Linda), Ramiro (Irene), Romeo (Jenny), Devonare’ (Anthony), Jacobi, and Devon (Markie); great-grandchildren Amara, Madison, Jazmin, Mekayla, Addisan, Vasi, Alina, Amelia, Victoria, Mikai, Asher and Titus; son Edgardo I.
