William A. Nickerson Jr., 72, passed away January 13, 2018. He was born in Norfolk, VA to the late William and Claudia Nickerson. He served in the United States Airforce. Nick retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Shop 56 AC & R, with 36 years of service. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years Janice and grandson, Christopher Allen.
Nick is survived by his daughters; Tammy Allen and Nichole Nickerson, son; Jason Nickerson, grandchildren; Brook Nickerson, Noah Allen and Trevor Anderson two sisters; Sandra Rochevot and Judy Owen and his faithful companion, Cooper.
Nick’s funeral service will held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 1 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA. His viewing will be held one hour before the service. Please visit www.woodlawngroup.com to share a memory with the family.
