While she was often smaller in stature than the people around her, Yolanda’s personality was more than big enough to fill any room she entered. In her younger years, she would dust baby powder on the floor of her living room and dance to her favorite music. As she moved through life, she continued to find happiness in little things, such as by collecting pinecones and seashells, sharing private jokes with the people she loved, and working in her garden where she proudly grew corn that towered over her. Her arched eyebrow was powerful, her joy deliberate, and her quiche second to none.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her parents, Angel and Yolanda De Los Reyes, and her beloved aunt and uncle, Laudalina and Wilfredo Perez. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by her husband, Perry Gibbs; daughter, Angela Francis; close cousin, Freddy Perez; and beloved step-children and life-long friends.
