Charles earned his teaching degree from Cameron University and Oklahoma State University. He earned his law degree from University of Oklahoma College of Law. He worked in private practice as an attorney before beginning his career with the Social Security Appeals Court. He loved gardening, reading, traveling, and music. He was a huge educator to all he met; and, will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He married Pansy Holbert on July 2, 1987 and from his union, they raised two sons, Neal “Chris” Anderson and Michael Anderson (deceased).
He has two sons, John Edgar Brown; his son from a marriage with Evelyn Phyffer; and Neal “Chris” Anderson, brother, Reuben Brown, four grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service Saturday June 25, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Norman, OK. Burial will follow at Norman I.O.O.F Cemetery.
