

She was born February 16, 1930 in Norman, OK to Ray I. and Elsie S. (Canfield) Barnhill. On May 20, 1953 she married Edward “Terry” Kirschner.
Cherry enjoyed crocheting, sewing, puzzles, playing dominos, spending time with friends and walking around her neighborhood. She was well known for her cooking ability with her famous chili and pork chops. She was a strong woman of faith, she was a phenomenal prayer warrior, and taught Sunday school at her church which she was very devoted to. Above all she loved spending time with her family and loved them very much and could not get her fill of babies.
Survivors include her children: Alice Root of Norman, Bertha (Glen) Symes of Norman, Linda (Jimmy) Frost of Washington and Tony Kirschner of Norman; grandchildren: Brian (Kristina) Root, Matt (Sara) Root, Cory (Heidi) Symes, Justin (Tinisha) Symes, Jennifer (Max) Collum, Emily (Michael) Barnes, Rebecca (Chris) McCoy, Skylur Kirschner; great-grandchildren: Alisha, Kaitlin, Lauren, Alicen, Reagan, Bella, Kyle, Tyler, Trever, Tory, Reagan, Camille, Faith, Seth, Luke, Noah, Jackson, Hope, Levi, Landon, Loralei, Jaycie, Wyatt; siblings: Vina Harris, Truman (Elizabeth) Barnhill, Elsie Shaw, B.T. (Arlene) Barnhill; many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son: William D. Kirschner; son-in-law: Robert Root; siblings: Bartus, Della, C.E.
