Cheryle Louise Creedon

On April 9, 2026, our sweet Mama went home to Jesus after a brief battle with cancer.

She graduated from the University of Oklahoma, School of Nursing, and enjoyed her career as an RN, and particularly loved her last job as a hospice nurse.

She spoke fondly of her childhood, growing up in eastern Oregon–always an admirer of God’s snowy mountains and stunning landscapes.

After a transformative encounter with Jesus at age 23, Cheri had a lifelong relationship with “the Author and Finisher”of her faith. She shared the Good News any chance she had, and touched countless lives with her kindness, attentiveness, genuine compassion and love.

She was surrounded by her 3 adult children and son-in-law, just as she wanted, when she left this world and entered into Eternity.

She is preceded in death by both parents, step-father Arnold Parr, and brother Bruce Campbell.

She will be forever loved and missed profoundly by daughter Abigail Wampler and son-in-law Greg; son Attila Gyula Balazs and partner, Kara Dyer; and daughter Vera Eleanor Balazs and partner Doug.

She is survived by husband Timothy Creedon, as well as siblings Dawn Campbell and brother-in-law Farhad; Brother Glen Campbell and sister-in-law Ronda; and brother Scott Campbell and sister-in-law Laura; step-sister Barbra Parr and partner Phyllis; and step-brothers Barry and Gordy Parr. She will be remembered and cherished by numerous extended family and friends who adored this precious lady.

And not to forget her grandpuppies and grandkitties: Coco, Pixie, Meatball, A Boy Named Mavis and Miss Pickles, as well as her doggy Ranger, her “sweet little friends.”

A Memorial Service will be held at Norman Community Church of the Nazarene, 1801 N Porter Ave., Norman, Oklahoma 73071, on April 15, 2026, at 12:30 pm.
