DaLinda Ann Parks was born to John and Anna (Sorels) Furtado on June 18, 1947 in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. She passed away peacefully on February 20, 2019 in Norman, Oklahoma. A family memorial will be held later.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, her nephew Danny, and her infant son, Shawn. She is survived by her sister, Mary Fowler; her daughter, Shawnda Gillham; and sons, Shane and Sheay Parks. Surviving relatives also include three great-grandchildren, Aurora, Charlie, and Mickey; and ten grandchildren, Dalton, Ariel, Ariana, Chade, Elizabeth, Catherine, Samantha, Liam, Dylan, and Brooke, who will forever hold her treasured grandma in the sweetest part of her heart.
Though small in stature, her love, laughter, and sparkly disposition took up an incredible amount of space. She was a voracious reader, and enjoyed sewing, crafting, art, and music. Lynn had a special kind of way about her, a fantastic excitement and sheer delight in surprising her loved ones, that made each holiday shared with her a special adventure. We all love her very much, and always will.
