Eddie Leon Spicer was born on September 29, 1955, in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He was the son of Ervin Spicer II and Arnola (Martin) Spicer. He grew up in Oklahoma City attending Northwest Classen High School. Following his education he began working in construction, building houses and roofing. He then began his career as a long haul truck driver for Melton Trucking Company, and later drove for Dolese Concrete Company. Following his career at Dolese he moved to Ardmore where he managed a car wash. He enjoyed Fishing, and making model wind mills.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ervin Spicer III, Ricky Spicer, and Carl Spicer.
He is survived by three sisters, Judy Amico of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Jeanne Maxwell of Hurst, Texas, and Jayne Silver of Yukon, Oklahoma; eight nieces and nephews, Jan Paul, Natians Wilson, Tim Maxwell, Jeffrey Spicer, Tamara Maxwell, Gregory Spicer, Randy Silver, and Andrew Silver; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Sunday, July 10, 2016, at 2:00 pm, at the Primrose Funeral Service Chapel, with Chaplain Peggy Pope officiating.
