He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Kristi (Shaw) Williams of New Ellenton, South Carolina.

Eric was a class of 1983 graduate of Butler High School in Augusta, Georgia. He joined the Air Force after graduating and was stationed at Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, Oklahoma, where he met Dana and started his family. They were stationed in England and South Dakota before settling back in Oklahoma. Over the years, he worked in a variety of career fields before finding his true passion as an over the road truck driver. He worked for Melton Truck Lines out of Tulsa, Oklahoma for the past 12 years. He was an accomplished driver, earning distinctions such as an Ambassador for his company, as well as a spot in the Million Milers Club for driving one million miles without an accident.
Eric’s biggest passion, however, was his family. He was happiest when surrounded by his daughters, grandchildren, and granddogs. His time spent at home always involved family game nights and a meal he cooked for everyone. His sense of humor and capacity for love were unmatched. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend whose presence will be greatly missed by many.
