Ginger was born on June 23, 1941, in Liberal, Missouri to Clyde and Virgie Farthing. She was married to Wayne Joy for many years. Ginger worked many years for Hudiburg Chevrolet in the accounting department.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Joy; her parents Clyde and Virgie Farthing.
Ginger is survived by her son Bryan Joy and his wife Valorie of Norman; one granddaughter, Madison Joy; and three grandsons, Tyler, Tanner, and Trevor Joy all of Norman; one sister, Norma McKee and her husband Jack of Brownsville, TX; and many more family and friends.
