Glenda Louise Nanny is survived by son Mark Nanny and wife Chris Eckert Nanny of Norman OK, daughter Emily Senchuk and husband Peter Senchuk and grandson Nikolas (Koli) Senchuk of Culver City, CA and is preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years James Nanny. Glenda is survived by her sister Delcey (Harlan) Watkins of Sonoma, CA, her great-niece Seraphine (Hector) Watson-Uva Rizo and grand-niece Genevieve Rizo of Tampa FL. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Glenn Watson and Florence Buhrst Watson, her brother Charles "Chuck" Watson, and her niece Jennifer Ann Watson.
Glenda was born in Michigan and she and James lived and raised their family in the Metro Detroit area until they relocated to Norman, OK in 2016. They were long time members of Bethany Lutheran Church and Glenda also worked as a preschool teacher and school aide at Bethany Lutheran School. Glenda loved spending time with her family and the many cats and dogs that were lucky enough to be adopted by her, especially her latest beloved companion, Stevie the cat.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Glenda's memory to her favorite charities: ASPCA, World Wildlife Fund or Michigan Humane Society.
