

Harold was born on July 24, 1934, to Henry J. and Oma (Jobe) Martin in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He graduated from McLish High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a private first class. On August 29, 1958, Harold married the love of his life, Edith Raney.
Throughout his life, Harold resided in Oklahoma City, Ada, Pauls Valley, and Fitztown before eventually settling in Norman. He had a fondness for Country Western music, and his favorite color was green. Harold's perfect day was spent with his grandchildren: enjoying sporting events with Bobby, buying snacks and souvenirs, and dining at Red Robin or IHOP with Riley. His great-granddaughters were always the light of his day, bringing laughter and joy into his life.
Harold will be remembered for his resilience, teaching everyone around him to never give up. He lived a long, full life, filling his family's hearts with happiness and love. In addition to his devotion to his family, Harold volunteered as a driver for the local VA, showcasing his commitment to helping others. Harold attended Westside Church of Christ in Norman.
Harold’s legacy of love, dedication, and joy will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Left to cherish the memory of Harold are his loving wife, Edith, of the home; his daughter, Lori Paulk, and her spouse, Bob II, of Noble; grandchildren, Robert Paulk III and his spouse Maddie, and Riley Paulk; great-grandchildren, Gavi Ellanora Paulk and Bexley Jay Paulk.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Henry J. and Oma Martin, and his great-granddaughter, Sadie Marie Paulk.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Norman, with Minister Phillip Johnson officiating.
