She was born August 15, 1945 to Robert Lee and Charlsta LaJune (Aduddell) Curry in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Hoy was a reading specialist. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master’s of Reading from the University of Oklahoma. She has resided in Waco, Texas, Noble, and moved to Norman in 2002.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Curry.
Mrs. Hoy is survived by her mother, Charlsta Curry; William Duncan Hoy; two sons, Lee Hoy of Texas, Luke Hoy and his wife, Toni of Noble; her sister, Melodye Pipes of Norman; four grandchildren, Hannah, Luke, Kaylee and Jacey; and a nephew, Turner Pipes.
