John was a great guy. In high school, my friends and I would get taco bell every day and bring it back for john and us to eat together. He would come and find us everyday to tell us what he wanted and to ask If we would finally be alright with just throwing him and his chair in the bed of the truck so he could cruise with us. Hahahaha we always laugh and tell him how bad of an idea that was. Had a lot of fun with John. He was a good dude and friend. I got to play and talk guitar with him many times. Always a good time. Rest easy brother.

We once drove John to watch a group of musicians practicing, called Cold Dog Soup, and he absolutely loved it. He was very knowledgeable about bands and music, and was well liked. Our deepest condolences go out to his family.  Frank Hill and Family


I have some great memories of John. One of my favorites was, when we were little and camping, and our parents asked us to move a large water jug. We couldn't lift it and John came up with the idea to balance it onto his wheelchair and we could move it that way. A fun memory of cousins working together to get things done! Wes and I also enjoyed our conversations about current affairs and music that we would always have when we would see him. John was a great person with a kind heart. We didn't get to see each other often, but when we did it was always a joy. I will miss those moments. -Megan and Wes

John was such a sweet and kind young man. He was always upbeat and definitely lit up the room with his sweet and easy going demeanor. John was fun to talk to as he had a wealth of knowledge and could share the most interesting stories and facts with you.  It was apparent that  he never met a stranger,  when we visited Cedar Blue everyone knew him and you could tell that they also enjoyed spending time visiting with him. John touched our hearts in ways I cannot express and he will be greatly missed.
