

Karen raised thoroughbred horses and enjoyed travel. She was an artist, painting with water colors and oil. She won awards for her paintings of angels and has displayed in downtown Oklahoma City. She was a 15 year member of McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church. She enjoyed competitive games of Trivial Pursuit with her family and loved spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Lawrence Watson and her second husband of 32 years, A. A. Standridge; and a nephew, Stephen Roberson.
Karen is survived by her sons, Larry Standridge and wife, April, Michael Standridge and wife, Becky Storey; a granddaughter, Bellah Standridge; sister, Berta Perry and husband Chet of Norman, Bill Roberson and wife Joann of Shawnee; nephew James Roberson of Annapolis MD; and great-niece, Riley Roberson.
The family has suggested, in lieu of flowers, donations to Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at the Primrose Chapel with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley. Visitation will be Wednesday 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Service with the family present 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
