Katherine "Katie" Sharp

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine Sharp, a cherished mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose warmth, laughter, and light brightened the lives of all who knew her. Born on August 18, 1986, Katherine had an extraordinary ability to bring joy to everyone she met, with a special gift for turning even the most ordinary moments into treasured memories.

A natural comedian, Katie’s quick wit and kind spirit made her the heart of every gathering. Above all, she was a devoted mother to her beloved son, Parker Henderson, who was the center of her world. Her love for him was immeasurable, and her vibrant energy and zest for life will live on through him.

Katie was a passionate fan of the Oklahoma Sooners and enjoyed watching football. She had a deep love for music and an adventurous spirit, always eager to explore new places. She formed lasting friendships with people from all walks of life, and her commitment to serving her community was evident in everything she did.

Katie is deeply missed by her mother, Karon Sharp; her sister, Allison Sharp; her brother, Bryan Davis;her son, Parker Henderson; and a close-knit family including aunts and uncles: Wayne and Lois Ward, Larry and Renay Hammer, Gary Ward, Denise Ross, and David Sharp. She is also survived by her cousins: Lisa Ward, Paige Ward, Jeremy Brown, Joel Ross, Steve Ward, Angela Kletke, Mark Ward, Stephanie Ross, Michael Ward, and Merhy Provenzano. As well as many extended family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Sharp; her grandparents, Marie and Ottis Sharp, and Mary Alice Ward; her Aunt Linda Taremi; and cousins Eric Ward, Karey Link, David Ross, and Becky Willeford. She now rests in eternal peace with those she loved and who have gone before her.

Her memory will continue to be a source of strength, inspiration, and comfort to those who were lucky enough to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 N. Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071.
