Kathy Carroll

Kathy loved her family, friends, and was passionate about her relationships with each of them. She never met a stranger and was caring to everyone she came in contact with. She had a special place in her heart for her grandson, Tyler Hankins. She retired after 30 years of service as the Benefits Coordinator at Norman Public Schools, where she completed her mission of helping people with everything from health insurance to retirement.

Kathy graduated from Shamrock High School and attended West Texas State on a music scholarship.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Bob Carroll; children: Bret and Shelly Hankins, Norman, OK Jenny Hankins, Oklahoma City, OK and Matt and Danielle Carroll, Moore, OK; grandson, Tyler Hankins; siblings: Robert Torgerson, Henderson, NV, Thomas and Loretta Torgerson, Tulsa, Kathy and John Wegleitner, Dickinson, ND, Cheris Meek, and Richard and Sharon Torgerson of Washington state,

Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Stella Mae Lister; father and step-mother, Robert A. and Audrey Torgerson; and sister, Darlene Morud.

A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Primrose Funeral Service.
