Kelly Sue Crownover

Kelly Sue (Rainbolt) Crownover, aged 59, resident of Norman, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma. She was born on November 27, 1962 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Toby and Mary Rainbolt. She graduated from Coweta High School in 1981. On April 26, 1982, she married Gary Crownover, and they remained together for 36 years.

Kelly had a business degree in bookkeeping, but after being diagnosed with MS at a young age, spent most of her time as a homemaker, raising her children and working on various crafts. She never stopped looking for knowledge or new skills. Kelly never met a stranger and considered all those she loved to be a part of her family. She enjoyed fishing, the smell of lilacs, the TV show Supernatural, anything that was purple, and spending time with her family. Her greatest joy was her granddaughter, Sarah. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kelly is survived by her daughter, Tobra, and her partner David, of Norman, Oklahoma; her son, Gary, and his partner Jen, of Norman, Oklahoma; her granddaughter Sarah, of Norman, Oklahoma; her brother, Bryan Rainbolt, and his wife, Necie, of Coweta, Oklahoma, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Toby Rainbolt and Mary Rainbolt.

A memorial service celebrating Kelly’s life will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Go Church in Norman, Oklahoma, with Pastor Chad Bartlett officiating.
