

Leon Howard Law was born February 28, 1941 in Eufaula, Oklahoma, the fourth of eight children born to Ezekiel and Mable (Dailey) Law. He was proceeded in death by both parents, one brother, Charles Melvin Law, and very close nephew, Alvin “Tommy” Law.
Leon accepted Christ and was baptized, at an early age. Upon relocating to Oklahoma City, in 1956, he along with his family, united with and became very active members of the Ebenezer Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Reverend E.H. Hill, Sr. He was a member of the Youth Choir.
Leon attended Douglass High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and was a member of the “Class of 1960”. While at Douglass, he joined his brothers and became a member of the (Mighty Trojans) Football Team.
After graduation, Leon enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served his country and completed his tour of duty, receiving an Honorable Discharge on October 6, 1967.
Leon endured a long illness and as a result was a long-time resident of the Veterans Center in Norman, Oklahoma.
He enjoyed shooting pool and many other social activities. He was an amazing Artist and this was expressed through his portfolio of sketches.
He loved his family and despite being ill for such an extended period, kept his sense of humor.
He was called from the labor of this life into eternal rest on March 9, 2021.
He leaves to cherish his memory, 5 sisters, Rose A. Coleman of McKenzie, Tennessee, Clarice F. Baldwin of Kenosia, Wisconsin, Dorothy J. Davis of Hermanville, Mississippi, Martha M. Law of Ypsilanti, Michigan, and Janis Law Noel of McKenzie, Tennessee, one brother Wilbur D. (Claudia) Law of Gardenia, California, one aunt, Mae Willie (Bea) Dailey Osborn, Baltimore, Maryland, and a host of nieces/nephews, cousins, along with friends of the Veterans Center in Norman, OKlahoma.
