

She passed October 19, 2014 in Oklahoma City.
She was known throughout the family as “Shell.” She accepted Christ at an early age at Everlasting Life Baptist Church, Norman Oklahoma under the pastorage of Terry Wilson.
She attended and graduated from Norman North High School in 2005. During her time at Norman North she was Captain of the pom squad. She furthered her education by attending the University of Oklahoma and graduated in 2010 with her Bachelor of Arts degree. She was also captain of the pom squad during her college years. She loved the field of dance. Michelle would coach and teach cheerleading squads in the metro area including schools in Edmond and Putnam City. She would take teams to competitions and they were successful in winning.
Michelle also accomplished many things in her professional life. She loved working with children in the after school program. She supervised the program during her time with them. She has worked with insurance and oil companies. She last worked for Seventy Seven Energy Company. She worked on insurance certifications within energy companies.
She leaves to mourn her parents James III and Pauletta (Linda) Harrell of Norman, Oklahoma. She leaves two sisters, Ruby (Charles) Boone of Baltimore, Maryland and Ericka McCampbell of Las Vegas, Nevada. She also leaves to mourn three brothers James Harrell IV of Norman, Oklahoma, Matthew (Carissa) Harrell of Norman, Oklahoma and Adrian Harrell of North Hollywood, California. She leaves one neice and three nephews.
She also leaves maternal grandmother Ruby Townsend and paternal grandfather James Harrell Jr., both of Chicago, Illinois, paternal uncle Lance (Felecia) Harrell of Norman, Oklahoma and paternal aunt Dimeta (Rev. Michael) Nixon of Chicago, Illinois. She leaves four maternal uncles Jerry Sims of Oklahoma City, Lonzell Sims and Abraham Sims of Chicago, Illinois and Curtis Sims of Seattle, Washington and a host of cousins and very close friends.

The family has suggested the Michelle Harrell Memorial fund at any Bank First as appropriate for memorial contributions.
Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, October 25 at Bethel Baptist Church in Norman. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Service.
