

Shadi Suleiman Dabit was born April 10, 1955 to his parents, Suleiman and Nadia Dabit in Beirut, Lebanon. Shadi’s first language was German as toddler. He was fluent in English, Arabic and French. He was very proud to have obtained a perfect score on the TOEFL. Shadi attended grade school and junior high school on the Saudi Aramco campus. He attended high school in Kenmore, Scotland and Bury St. Edmunds, England. He came to the United States to attend undergraduate school at the University of Illinois in Urbana and graduated with a BS in organizational management. He subsequently attended the University of Oklahoma School of Law, graduating with a joint JD and MBA degrees. After school, he accepted employment with the Saudi American Bank as a vice president in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In 1990, he returned to the United States and became an American citizen. He loved the United States for the opportunities it presented him.
Shadi accepted employment with one of the largest trading companies in the United States and found his calling as a trader in stocks, bonds, and commodities. Shadi soon became a millionaire producer for one of the largest trading companies in the United States and was one of the top selling brokers worldwide. Shadi enjoyed teaching others about the stock market and helping them realize the importance of acquiring wealth through the stock market and allowing your own funds to work for you. Those who knew Shadi knew he constantly watched the news and the markets daily to determine what was going on in the world. He could converse in depth on most subject matters. Shadi traveled the world extensively and appreciated the wonderful things life offered.
Shadi was a very generous individual who often helped family and friends financially. Shadi will always be remembered for his kindnesses. Shadi did not boast about the things that he did for others, but worked hard behind the scenes to help individuals who sought his phenomenal ability to assimilate information and to share that information.
Shadi loved Michael, chocolates, his grandmother, his cats, past and present and his many friends. Shadi practiced the Greek Orthodox Christian Religion which explained the beautifully decorated Christmas tree which stayed up in his home in accordance to his religious practices.
Shadi had a passion for automobiles and photography. He collected all manners of fountain pens, watches and stamps as a hobby. As he did with everything that he took on in this life, he would become extremely immersed and knowledgeable about all subject matters in which he took interests.
Shadi was a very private person. Shadi was extremely grateful for the loving care and dedication received from his caregivers. Their attentiveness allowed Shadi to participate in life and enjoy those around him.
For those who knew Shadi, understood how unique he was, how intelligent he was and how generous he was! Shadi will always be loved and held in our hearts and never forgotten.
