

Shirley Marie Marble, 83, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026, in League City, Texas. She was born on April 12, 1942, in Leesville, Louisiana. Shirley spent much of her life in Oklahoma before later settling in Texas.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and Virgil Reich; her husband, Francis Marble Jr.; and her siblings Steven, Randy, Debbie, Kim, and Ricky.
She is survived by her siblings Doyle, Loyal, Larry, and Cindy; her five children, David, Daniel, Kevin, Michelle, and Francis III; two grandsons, Chris and Francis IV; six granddaughters, Nikki, Keylee, Kassie, Sherrill, Mary, and Breanna; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends. Shirley cared deeply for her family and took great pride in each generation.
Shirley had a creative spirit and a lifelong love of art. She studied art at the University of Oklahoma and later earned an Associate of Arts degree from College of the Mainland. Her creativity showed through her love of painting and making jewelry, as well as in the care she put into her home and garden.
She found joy in simple pleasures—playing Bingo, tending her plants, spending time with family and friends, enjoying Mexican food with good company, and making special trips to Dairy Queen for ice cream. Shirley was happiest when surrounded by the people she loved, sharing laughter, stories, and everyday moments.
A visitation will be held at Primrose Funeral Service, located at 3901 N Flood Ave., Norman, OK, 73069, on Thursday February 19, 2026, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm with family receiving visitors from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. The funeral service will take place at Primrose Funeral Service on Friday February 20, 2026, starting at 10:00 am followed by interment at Norman IOOF Cemetery, 1913 N Porter Ave., Norman, OK, 73071.
