Services for Thomas Franklin Hankins, 79, of Noble will be 10:00AM Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at the Primrose Chapel. He will be laid to rest at McGee Cemetery in Stratford at 12:30PM. He was born in Stratford on September 26, 1933. He left the cares and pain of this world January 8, 2013, after a brief illness.
On December 2, 1954 Frank married his high school sweetheart Lovell Frances Melton. Frank and Lovell had two loving daughters, Diana and Melinda.
He was a member of the United States Army and the U.S. National Guard from 1956-1962. Frank retired from Tyler & Simpson and Norman Public Schools. He loved to garden and to go fishing.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife Lovell on May 18, 2004.
He is survived by his children and their spouses Diana and Steve of Torrington, WY and Melinda and James Thorne of Noble; grandchildren Angela of Indio, CA and Braden of Oklahoma City; great-grandchildren Cody, Hunter and Joey; and numerous friends and relatives who loved and cared greatly for him.
