Velvet Ann (Anastasia) McFeeters was born to Henry O. and Thelma L. Camp on July 4, 1946 in Ft. Worth, Texas, and passed from this life on May 12, 2018 in Norman, Oklahoma where she resided with her husband, William since 2002.
She is survived by her husband William, and children, Christy, Spain, Heather, and Erin, her beloved grandchildren Hunter, Garrett, Declan, Piper, Rowan, and Samuel, and her brother Greg and sister-in-law Holly Jo as well as dear nieces and nephews.
Known for her loving spirit, overwhelming generosity, kindness, and creativity, she was loved and respected by all who knew her.
Velvet Ann was deeply committed to her Christian Faith and fully engaged in the life of her Church, serving faithfully with her Orthodox priest husband. William and Velvet provided steadfast love and support for each other over their many years of marriage, and he will miss her beyond measure.
Velvet Ann had a deep passion for creating art and worked much of her life in that field. Her pets and her plants were among her greatest joys.
The Trisagion Prayers of Mercy (a brief prayer service) will be served at 7:00 pm on Monday, May 14, 2018, at Saint Mary Orthodox Church in Jones, Oklahoma. The Funeral Rite will be served on Tuesday, at 10 am, also at Saint Mary Church followed by a Memorial Meal of Mercy and interment in Sunset Memorial Park. MEMORY ETERNAL
