Harry Smith, born on February 13, 1953, passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 72. A resident of Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, Harry is remembered with love and respect by his family and friends.
Predeceased by his beloved wife, Gabriella Smith, Harry leaves behind a legacy cherished by his children: Richard Smith of Saskatoon, Carol Lafreniere and Clayton Lafreniere of Aquadeo, and Shelley Smith and John Oleksyn of Lloydminster. His grandchildren, Landen Smith, J.J. Oleksyn, and Deklyn Oleksyn of Lloydminster, Trent Lafreniere (Haley) of Meota, Chelsea Lafreniere (Adam) of Meota, Brandon Lafreniere (Taylor) of Saskatoon, Alexandra Oleksyn (Braden) of Saskatoon, Trevor Smith and Kody Smith of Saskatoon, and Thomas Arendt of Aquadeo, will forever hold his memory dear. Harry was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Adrian Carswell of Lloydminster, Luka Aubichon of Saskatoon, Avery Chmelnyk and Rian Balog of Meota, and Sawyer and Maci Lafreniere of Meota.
A committal service will be held in honour of Harry Smith at North Battleford City Cemetery. The service is scheduled for February 24th 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Harry's life was a testament to love, family, and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
