Back in our school days Jack and his family always had a place for 
a town boy. They always made you feel welcome, even if you couldn't hold a candle to the work load of a farm boy!!  As what has been said before, Jack was a gentle soul. We had some good times playing ball, horsing around on the farm and trying to be race car drivers with Brother Terry in The Old Volkswagen with No Doors!  
You will be missed.

How has cousin Jack been gone for a whole year!!  It seems like yesterday we were at the farm for a short visit.  Jack was  playing with my young daughter, proudly  perching her on top of his prize calf and leading it around the yard. My heart stopped as I imagined the worst, as only a young mother can.  Jack was cool and confident and assured me he was in total control.  I’m sure he had a good laugh about how his city cousin reacted.  He was so good with my daughter and I often thought he would have been a wonderful father. He is missed and remembered with love.

It’s is hard to look back today and not feel the same sorrow that we did the day it happened! The best consolation is that we know how many people hold his memories deep in there hearts! May God bless you Jack, and your families.

I am in total shock and deep sadness over the passing of such an amazing man. I met Jack while hunting in Meadow Lake at a friends place. He would come and visit every year when we were there and we always had a great time laughing over games of pool and sharing stories and a few drinks. Jack would always bring different meats and different beer to try. He loved his archery hunting and stayed true to it and was very successful at his craft. I remember driving home to BC through Saskatchewan one summer and my truck broke  down near Kindersley. I called Jack just to say hi and have a chat and told him of our situation. He said stay right there I’m coming to pick you up. I had my wife and 3 kids and he showed up in his moms van and took us back to his place where we spent a couple days with him and Gwen. He took me and my boys out hunting gofers and fed us gourmet meals and non stop laughs. I’ll hang on to those memories of a true prince of a man and one that we all should aspire to be more like. My deepest condolences to all family and friends. You’ve worked long and hard my friend. Rest In Peace 

It was a huge shock to learn that Jack was no longer with us.  Jack was one of the kindest and "easy to get along with" people that I knew.  I met him some years ago at archery competitions.  I would see him from time to time when he needed a flemish string for one of his stick bows.    His loss will be felt by many for a long time !

I remember when Jack, Terry and Brenda used to come to Saskatoon to visit their Aunt Lucy, who lived next door to our family.
I remember him as a quiet, soft spoken, very kind person. 
I am sure that your family will miss you very much.

Jack was the neighbour everyone should have.  He made a point of stopping in.  He never seemed to be in a rush.  He always had time to chat.  What he had to say was always worth a careful listen.

Cousin Jack was a farm boy through and through.  We loved spending time with Jack, Terry and Brenda during summer vacation. The adventures we had and trouble we caused helped turn Aunt Norma’s hair grey I’m sure.  Jack took great pride in his cattle.  One year I took my daughter to the farm &  he plunked her onto the back of an angus calf and took her for a walk-about. She has never forgotten that!   He had a lot of patience with us city folks.  He was loved by many, and will be missed by all.

The last time I saw my cousin Jack was last winter in the co-op gas Battleford Saskatchewan. He turned around and saw me. At that moment the convenience store didn't need lights as his smile and twinkling eyes and laughter lit up the entire store. We embraced each other and it was the biggest hug I have had in a long time. I will forever cherish that memory and your smile. You lived life to it's fullest may your way of life inspire others to live their lives to the fullest. Your smile, laugh and hug will remain in my heart forever and always. 

My cousin Jack was a childhood friend.   As a child I would spend a couple of weeks at the farm and Jack was always there to help with the eggs, milking etc.  He loved the land and family.  He will be missed.

I still remember Jack flying over a big drop skiing at Lake Louise. Can't believe he didn't get hurt.



Cant belive your gone. Will aways have wonderful memories  of you and your family. ❤  Bev and I send our deepest  condolence  to your loved ones who I no will keep your memories  alive.
