Roy Victor Thunderchild

Roy was born in 1930 at Thunderchild Reserve. He was a hard worker and enjoyed sports - soccer, baseball, and rodeo. He was a fluent Cree speaker and liked to share stories of the past up to his last day on Mother Earth. He enjoyed time with his children, grandkids, and great grandkids, all his friends and all who visited him. He enjoyed life to the fullest.

Roy is survived by his sister Theresa (Bobby); his children Robert Howard (Linda), Linda (Terry) Clarence, Lorraine (Blair), Warren (Ramona), Yvette (Denis), Darwin (Valerie), Tanya (Evan), Lorrinda (Adam), and Travis;

Roy was predeceased by his parents Thomas Thunderchild and Esther Thunderchild; his brothers Albert Thunderchild, John Thunderchild, Lawrence Thunderchild, Louie Alexander, and Sydney Alexander; his sisters Caroline Awasis, Sheila Yellowbird, and Beatrice Cutknife.

Serving as pallbearers are Craig Albert, Kelly Jimmy, Dion Yellowbird, Corey Potts, Lonnie Louis and Dominic Cutknife.
