Alice passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, at home, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on July 27, 1942 in Coalburg, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Griffith O’Dell and Myrtle Marie Ellis and the oldest of 8 children.
Alice will be remembered for her strong faith in Jesus and the love for her family. Her faith was the center of all she said and did and was evident in her relationships with all of those she encountered. She was a beloved wife, mom, mimi and aunt
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, A.J. (Albert). Mom to three daughters; Angie (Chris), April (Erik) & Allison (Bill). Mimi to six grandchildren; Nick (Jennifer), Joey, Kenzie, Grace, Kacey & Anna, and four great grandchildren; Christian, Brooklyn, Camryn & Lily. She had 5 surviving siblings; Lewis (Rossa), Jane (PK), Risty (Brenda), Ronnie (Roger) and Danny (Rhonda), and was preceded in death by brothers Earl (Dorothy) and Dewayne and many nieces and nephews.
