Alice was born October 20, 1942 in Troy, Al. to the late Joseph Howard and Grace Lee Andress Blanton.
Alice is survived by: her husband of 57 years, Roy Wayne Kessinger; her daughters: Deborrah Justice (James) and Jeanette Osborn (Billy); her sons: Steven Kessinger (Morgan) and Joseph Kessinger (Abigail). Her grandchildren: Leslie Crowson, Lauren Grill, Kaitlyn Osborn, Will Osborn, Matison Smith ,Sullivan Grace Kessinger and Blanton Kessinger.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother: Jimmy Blanton.
Alice taught school for 35 years. Most of her career was at Pepperhill Elementary School. She enjoyed reading, camping, gardening, flowers and most of all her family.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 13th, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Funerals & Cremation, 7113 North Charleston, SC 29406. A Celebration of Life will follow from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in Carolina Memorial Chapel. The Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens at 2:00 pm.
