Anne Doty

Anne Marie Doty, 84, wife of Lon Doty, of Rincon, GA, entered into eternal rest Wednesday March 8, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. The relatives and friends of Anne Doty are invited to attend her funeral services on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 2 pm at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family welcomes visitation at the same facility Sunday 5 pm to 7 pm. Anne was born in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Ashby L. Mitchell and Sarah Rabon Mitchell. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, baking, baseball, gardening, visits from her family, and truly adored her animals. Anne worked as a retail manager for the Army & Air Force Exchange Service and retired after 22 years. She was a Presbyterian. Anne is survived by her husband of 35 years, Lon Doty of Rincon, GA, daughter Cynthia A. Nichols, and sons Jerome C. Knight and Michael A. Knight, 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
