Charles Mendel Williams Jr., born on October 14, 1950, in Camden, South Carolina, passed away on December 25, 2025, at the age of 75. Charles was a resident of Summerville, South Carolina, at the time of his passing.
Charles honorably served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to his country.
He is survived by his son, Charles Williams III, and daughter-in-law, Shelia. He leaves behind cherished grandchildren: Tiffany Williams, Isaiah Arbogast, Noel Williams, and Charles Williams IV. His sister, Marilyn Williams Tyson, and sister-in-law, Cathy Williams, also survive him. Charles's beloved pet cat, Tiger, was a treasured companion. Additionally, he is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Brown Williams and Charles Williams Sr., his brother, Marion Williams, and his uncle, Marvin Brown.
A service of interment with military honors will be held at Carolina Memorial Gardens, located at 7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC, on December 30, 2025, at 10:00 am.
