Clare was born in West Stockbridge, MA on October 3, 1925 to Dominic and Maria Ferrari.
She graduated from Williams High School in Stockbridge, MA in 1943. Clare married Glen Keithler in 1956 where they together raised five girls in West Stockbridge, MA and dedicated many years to the local Girl Scouts. In 1976, the family moved to South Carolina where she continued to volunteer with the Girl Scouts. The pin is awarded annually to one adult individual for outstanding operational support.

Charleston; SC; Michelle Keithler of Lima, NY; Denise Keithler of Round O, SC; and Dawn Chubb (Scott) of Hanahan, SC.
She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
There will be a graveside service at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Ave., N. Charleston, SC on Wednesday, April 20 at 3:30 pm. A celebration of life will follow at the Hanahan Exchange Club Building at 1145 Yeamans Hall Rd. from 4:30 to 7:00.
