David M Brownlee, Sr., 75, of Goose Creek, retired from Alcoa of Mt Holly, husband of Alice Faye Brownlee, went to be with the Lord on May 5, 2018. He is the son of James Elliott and Fannie Francis Brownlee. He was predeceased by a daughter, Kimberley Ann. Surviving, in addition to his wife are 3 sons, Ken (Shelly), Jim (Michele), Paul (Stacy), and 2 daughters, Penny (Bennett), and Mandy (Bruce), 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild due in August. He was a Deacon of First Baptist Church of Goose Creek. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, friend and Poppie to his family and community. He will be greatly missed by all. His funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church of Goose Creek on Tuesday morning, May 8, 2018 at 11:00am. Interment will be in Black Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may call at Carolina Memorial Gardens this Monday evening between the hours of 6 and 8 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, Goose Creek.
