David McMillan of Moncks Corner, SC, passed away on January 22, 2026. He was born on September 27, 1933 in Orangeburg, SC. Son of the late Edward McMillan and Ethel Zeigler McMillan, and widower of Betty Hazel McMillan. His family moved to Charleston when he was 13 years old. His fondest memories were that of growing up on 208 King St., and selling newspapers. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force and retired from civil service as an aircraft mechanic. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Pam (Jim) Mills; 2 sons, David (Robin), and Ronnie (Debbie) McMillan. He was loved by his 9 grandchildren, 14 great grands, and 2 great-great grands. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ethel Zeigler McMillan; his wife Betty Hazel McMillan; his brothers, Harold and Edward McMillan; and sister, Kathryn Price. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 1:00PM at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406, with a chapel service to follow at 2:00PM. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
