Dewey Carlton "Carl" Williams

Dewey Carlton Williams, Jr was born August 28, 1956, to Dewey Carlton Williams Sr. and Mrytle Williams. He attended Stall high school and worked as an auto mechanic, for 46 years. He enjoyed working on different projects, such as working on sports cars and race boats. In Childhood and through his teens, he enjoyed playing baseball. Carl was an avid outdoorsman who loved to go hunting and fishing. His passion for hunting started as a child when he began hunting with his father. He was known for his big heart and always thinking of others. 

Carl was preceded in death by his father, Dewey Carlton Williams, Sr.

Carl is survived by his spouse, Shelly Cummings; children, Dewey Carlton III (Jocelyn), Justin (Seemone), and Amber; grandchildren, Dewey Carlton IV (Derrice), Zachery, Sadie, Ansley, Naimoi, Camden Bear, Amay; one great-grandchild Caspian on the way; mother, Myrtle Williams; brothers Ray Williams (Shantel), Kevin; sisters Terri Shirrel (Robert), Laurie Alquzaa, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family invites guests to visit on Wednesday, October 30th, 2019, from 1:00pm until 2:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremation located at 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406 (843) 797-2222. The funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel at 2:00pm.
