Diane was preceded in death by her loving husband James D. Carroll; her parents Michael and Dorothy Ruotolo; and her brothers Michael and John Ruotolo.
Diane is survived by her nephews and nieces Michael Ruotolo, Marie Bischoff, Jennifer Ruotolo, and Stephanie Ruotolo Fajardo; her grandchildren Tiffany Bazzle, Robert Carroll, Tina Mathos, Kayla Carroll, and Taylor Carroll, and many great grandchildren.
Diane graduated from Bishop England High School and the University of South Carolina. She retired from the Joint Base Charleston as the Transition Assistance Management Program Manager in 2011.
A visitation for Diane will take place at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home on Friday March 1, 2024 at 12:00 pm, with a funeral service to follow at 1:00pm. Burial will follow immediately after at Carolina Memorial Park. 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406.
