Eduardo C. Cuenca, a Retired Navy Veteran and longtime resident of Goose Creek, SC died peacefully at age 75on August 18, 2015 Charleston, SC. Ed is survived by his wife Thelma Cuenca of Goose Creek, his children Gilbert (and Elsa) Cuenca of Summerville, Charlene Cuenca of Charleston, andJamie Cuenca of Goose Creek. He is also survived by siblings Hermie Villenuava, Manolito Cuenca, Nita Cuenca, Celso Cuenca, Dulce Gomez, Nora Mecate, Josephine Saratan of Goose Creek and Philippines. Nieces and nephews include Kathleen Cuenca of Goose Creek, Angela Gomez of Summerville, Vanessa Martinez of New York, Jana Martinez of Goose Creek, Ian Martinez of Goose Creek, Lia Martinez of Goose Creek. Siblings: Hermie, Manolito, Nita, Celso, Dulce, Nora, Josephine Ed was born October 14, 1939 in Imus, Cavite, Philippines to parents Claudio and Leonor Cuenca. He was married on January 6, 1970, Our Lady of the Pillars - Imus, Cavite, to Thelma Cuenca. He was Educated at Trident Technical College. He was a United States Navy Veteran – 20 Years – Retired. He held multiple positions within Masonic Lodge, and was a member of the Shriners He was an avid bowler, and fisherman. He held multiple positions within Masonic Lodge (Franklin #96), and was a member of the Shriners (Omar Islanders) Viewing will be on Thursday August 20, 2015 6:00-9:00pm at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St James Ave, Goose Creek Friday August 21, 2015 11:00am Pallbearers will be members of Franklin Lodge #96 Arrangements by Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, North Charleston SC.
